Fenders should not contact each other when compressed. Neither fenders nor panel should touch the quay face during compression. TLE Element Fenders need special consideration as they can be installed horizontally or vertically. The table below shows minimum clearances between fenders, with respect to fender height. Figures are for guidance only and should always be calculated during design.
