TEKMARINE’s TekGuard foam fenders are constructed with a filament-reinforced outer layer shields and the closed-cell polyethylene foam core. The outer layer resist wear and tear in the aggressive environment whereas the closed cell absorbs the impacts of berthing energy.
TEKMARINE’s TekGuard foam fender can be used for ship to ship operation and dockside protection , resist UV and Ozone damage, will not deflate or sink, and are very easy to relocate, repairable and can be refurbished. TekGuard is available in black color as standard with option of Navy grey and Orange. Other colors are available upon request.
It can be deployed using a single pair of chains or 4 point semi fixed arrangement , attached to brackets or U- anchors allowing the fender to rise and fall with changes in water level.
